Hi guys! I am glad you are enjoying Mexico, are you going to Chichen Itza soon? I would love to go to DF with you guys! take care, MOM

Yeah, I think Chichen Itza will probably be our first ruins, either tomorrow or some time in the first half of next week. We'll probably hit up one of the big cenotes (sinkholes) and see if we can snorkel it too!

Hi Guys! I found some tickets to Cancun, RT for $380 w/Delta. Shall I take them????

Sure! Try to price one way (either arriving, or departing) from Merida too (or if it's cheap, both ways). Merida is a 3 hour drive to Cancun, and each way is $20 USD ($214 pesos) in tolls.

Where we are now, it's about 45 minutes to Chichen Itza, and it should be open now (it was closed because of the imaginary flu). I also wanted to go to Tulum, which is a couple hours south of Cancun, so if we do need to drive to Cancun to meet you, I'd like to go to Tulum on the same drive (bring your swimming suit!)

I still remember watching the travel channel with you when I was much younger, and seeing the amazing pictures of the ruins right next to the beautiful blue ocean in Tulum, and how we both freaked out and wanted to go there some day...

Oh also, don't waste your time getting traveler's checks or bringing cash; you can use atms here like in the USA, and the exchange rate is better than going to the bank. Visa is pretty much accepted everywhere. If that's a problem, you can deposit money into my old UCCU account and I can give you my atm card to withdraw it in pesos.

Anyway, let us know. Love you mama.
